Improved curing of concrete enhances cement hydration and provides a more durable concrete.
- Control of moisture loss improves surface quality, reducing permeability, producing a hard-wearing, dust free surface and minimising potential for surface cracking and shrinkage.
- Light reflective grades minimise solar temperature gain.
- Spray application reduces labour costs and eliminates the need for alternative curing systems.
- Water borne and environment friendly
MCON CURE RA has a minimum shelf life of 6 months, when stored in the original unopened containers under normal warehouse conditions.
MCON CURE RA should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapours and ensure adequate
ventilation.
- Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn. Some people are sensitive to resins and pigments. Resin Barrier creams provide additional skin protection.
- Should accidental skin contact occur, remove immediately with a resin removing cream followed by washing with soap and water – do not use solvent.
- Incase of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed seek medical attention immediately – do not induce vomiting.
Description
MCON CURE RA concrete curing compound is resin based water borne system which makes continuous film forming curing compound and is supplied in aluminized pigmented.
Aspect: Aluminized liquid Specific Gravity: 0.980 ± 0.020
When first applied to a fresh cementitious surface the product forms a continuous, non-penetrating coating. This coating dries to a form a continuous film which provides a barrier to moisture loss ensuring more efficient cement hydration, improved durability and reduced shrinkage.
Equipment
Spray equipment producing a fine mist may be used for MCON CURE RA, such as knapsack or motorised sprayers. The suitability of equipment should be ensured by an application trial.
Equipment Cleaning
Spray equipment should be cleaned immediately after use by flushing thoroughly with Cleaning Solution.
Overcoating and Removal
MCON CURE RA need not be removed from a concrete surface before application of a subsequent coating.
Packing
20 and 200 ltrs containers
Standards compliance
MCON CURE RA gives 92% or greater curing efficiency when tested as per BS 7542-1992.
