MCON MAGIC SEAL PU is a one component, high performance sealant based on advance PU Polymer Technology. It has an excellent UV, weather and temperature resistance. It has excellent adhesion over a wide variety of substrates and is paintable with most common industrial paints. This sealant has been specially formulated as a non staining sealant and for application to difficult substrates associated with modern facade construction.

1. Sealant is designed to seal construction joints.
2. To seal waterproof rivet seams and roof rails.
3. To seal perimeter joints around windows and doors.
4. Sealing corner moldings, fabricated roof-lap seams, bumper assemblies and body-to-cab joints In motor homes.
5. Sealing door hinges, skylights and pot holes.
6. Sealing air conditioning equipment, flashing and gutters
7. Application to difficult substrates with modern façade construction
1. Substrates must be clean, dry and free from grease, dirt, oil, detergent and loose materials which may impair adhesion.
2. Metal surfaces should be cleaned and degreased. For a neat finish, apply masking tape and remove it before sealant has skinned over.
3. Cut tip off cartridge / sausage with a sharp knife.
4. Cut nozzle at 45 angle to desire bead – width and apply to substrate with cartridge gun.
5. Firmly extrude the sealant into slot ensuring complete contact with joint faces.
6. Tooling time is 10 minutes, tack free time is 10 – 15 minutes.
7. The sealant should be tooled shortly after application before skin forms to ensure good contact with joint substrates.
8. Uncured sealant can be cleaned up with mineral spirits. Use approved backing material for joints over 10 mm deep.
9. MCON MAGIC SEAL PU may be over-painted with water based paints, however due to the large number of coatings available, it is advisable to carry out a compatibility test before application.
10. For alkyd paints a suitable water based undercoat must be used.
Store in a dry and cool place with temperature below O +30 C. Use within 12 months from date of production.
1. Uncured adhesive / sealant causes skin and eyes irritation upon contact.
2. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and mouth.
3. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water immediately for 15 minutes.
4. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
5. Keep out of reach of children. Use in well ventilated areas.
