Description

MCON ELASTO COAT PRIMER is an exterior acrylic primer which is a combination of Primer and sealer, and is designed for exterior surfaces to provide best in class adhesion, resistance to alkali and primary efflorescence. MCON ELASTO COAT PRIMER It is highly user friendly and eco-friendly. MCON ELASTO COAT PRIMER has excellent bonding to most of the Cementitous surfaces, breathing properties, water resistance and excellent acceptance to next coat of Coating. MCON ELASTO COAT PRIMER provides excellent whiteness to the substrate and increases the coverage of MCON ELASTO COAT.

Direction Of Uses:
Adequate surface preparation as given below is necessary for product performance.

Application of Primer is an ideal practice prior to MCON ELASTO COAT.

SURFACE PREPARATION
NEW MASONRY :
MCON ELASTO COAT Elastomeric Waterproof coating should not be applied to fresh concrete and to other surfaces less than seven days old. Ideally concrete should be allowed to cure for 28 days before application. Power wash to ensure no under bound sand or cement remains on the surface. Allow the surface to dry and apply MCON ELASTO COAT PRIMER one coat. Let the primer get absorbed in the surface and apply MCON ELASTO COAT after 4 hours of primer application.

EXISTING MASONRY:
Power wash to remove all loosely adhered coatings, dirt, mild dew and other contaminants. Fill any existing cracks up to 3 mm with Crack Filler (Non Shrink Crack filler) paintable sealant. And more than 3 mm with Polymer Mortar (Ready to use Polymer Repair Mortar).

Allow the surface to dry and apply MCON ELASTO COAT PRIMER one coat. Let the primer get absorbed in the surface and apply MCON ELASTO COAT after 4 hours of primer application.
