bathrooms, chajja & lift pits, balconies - As a bond coat – For bonding of new concrete to old concrete, masonry
stone work, plastering fixing of slip bricks, tiles, stones & marble
bedding. - For plastering on RCC Surface without hacking as a hacking aid.
- As external rendering – Weatherproof & frost resistant render.
- As bonding slurry coat for pinhole treatment on concrete surface.
Method of Application :-
- Surface preparation is vital for effective adhesion and bonding of BOND APL.
- To start with, free the surface from laitance, loose dust particles, oil, grease
and other dirt. - Then: Weigh out 1 kg of BOND APL in a plastic container of 2 litre capacity.
- Weigh out 1 kg of ordinary Portland cement from a bag of fresh cement.
- Add the cement gradually to BOND APL with constant stirring.
- Ensure ther is no formation of lumps.
- Stir constantly until all the cement has been added to BOND APL and slurry
of uniform consistency is achieved. - Apply this slurry on the substrate using a soft 4 – inch wide paint brush.
- Apply the slurry in one direction only
