1. Improved workability—easier, quicker placing and compaction.
2. Increased strength – Provides higher-strength concrete with reduced water content.
3. Improved quality – High Durability due Denser, close-textured concrete with reduced porosity.
4. Higher cohesion – Risk of segregation and bleeding is minimized; thus, it aids pumping of concrete.
5. Chloride free – Safe in prestressed concrete and with sulfate-resisting cements and marine aggregates.
1. Dosage: Trials need to be carried out at the site to determine the exact dosage of the admixture for the particular mix. However, for normal grades of concrete, a dosage from 0.8% to 1.0% by weight of cement is recommended; the dosage may be increased to 1.5% to achieve specific slump requirements.
2. Use at Other Dosages: Dosages outside the typical ranges quoted above can be used to meet particular requirements.
3. Overdosage: An overdose of the recommended level of admixture may result in high workability, slight increase in air entrainment and retardation of setting time. The ultimate strength of the concrete will not be adversely affected and will generally be higher than for normal concrete if properly placed and cured.
4. Dispensing: A measured quantity of MCON SRP 100 should be added along with the gauging water. For best results, add MCON SRP 100 in the last phase after pre- wetting the mix with 80% of the total water required.
12 months in original packing if stored at room O temperature i.e.25 C
1. MCON SRP 100 is non – toxic.
2. However, splashes on the skin should be washed well with water and in contact with eye occurs, wash well with water and seek medical advice.
