MCON Magic Coat CE 202

1. Surface must be clean and free from dirt, rust, grease, oil, and loose particles.

2. Thoroughly clean the concrete surface by harsh wire brushing. Clean the dust by compressed air. If possible, wash the surface with water to remove accumulated dust & dirt to achieve good bonding.

3. Clean the steel surface to remove rust scales, by wire brushing & scrapping.

4. The best method to clean the surface is sand / grit blasting for best performance.

5. MCON STEEL RR be used to prepare the steel surfaces.

6. For new surfaces to clean oil & grease use degreasing solvents, such as turpentine or thinners.

7. Surface must be dry before application.

1. Apply MCON MAGIC COAT CE 202 by brush or spray over the prepared surface at the recommended coverage & DFT.

2. Allow first coat to dry for 8-10 hrs, depending upon temperature & humidity.

3. Apply second coat, in direction perpendicular to previous coat.

4. Allow the coating to cure for 7 days.

1. Clean all tools immediately after use with MCON Thiner 100 only.

1. Mix both Part A & Part B of MCON MAGIC COAT CE 202 components in their individual containers thoroughly.

2. Mix Part A & Part B in 5: 1 ratio manually using wooden batten or steel spatula thoroughly for 3 – 5 min. to achieve uniform mix.

3. Material can be mixed by using drill machine attached with paddle stirrer at 250 – 300 rpm for 3-5 minutes.

Precautions

1. Apply the material as per the given coverage rates to achieve the desire dry film thickness.

2. Provide proper ventilation, during application in tanks or close areas.

3. Do not use for potable water tanks.

4. MCON MAGIC COAT CE 202 should be applied within pot life.

5. Do not apply when temperature falls below 10^oC or rises above 50^oC. Do not apply during rain, fog or mist.

6. Materials react with humidity and moisture. Keep containers tightly sealed and stored upside.

Safety & Precautions

1. Some people are sensitive to epoxy resin systems and may develop dermatitis on skin contact.

2. Use gloves and barrier creams while handling primers and MCON MAGIC COAT CE 202 contact with the skin occurs, wash with soap and plenty of water.

3. Direct contact with eyes will cause irritation and may cause serious damage if left untreated.

4. Wash any eye contamination thoroughly with plenty of water. Immediately seek medical treatment.
